eBay Business - The BEST Day To Start Your Auction And Pull In More Profits
Choose the right day to start your auctions, and you could be laughing your way to the bank. On eBay, the day you start your auctions can mean the difference between a $20 selling price and a $100 selling price. So which is the best day to start your auctions and increase your income?
There are a few lines of thought regarding this. But many eBay Powersellers agree that the best day to start your auctions is on a Thursday. By setting your auction to last for 10 days, your auction will be seen on two weekends and will end on a Sunday, where bidding is most rampant.
If your auction is for 7 days, you can start your auction on Sunday. But most Powersellers agree that keeping your auction up for as long as possible gives possible bidders more time to think about whether they should enter the bidding.
Another line of thought is to start your 10 day auction on a Saturday. This way your auction also lasts through 2 weekends but ends on a Tuesday. Tuesday is a great day for business because most people have gotten over the Monday hump and are beginning to feel more positive on Tuesday. Indeed, many product launches are done on Tuesdays because of this little phenomenon.
However, Thursday should still be considered the better day to start your auctions since your auction will end on a Sunday, which is when many people are at home, especially on Sunday night. A bidding war on your auctions is more likely because of this.
